VALORANT Decision Framework to be published on BioBoost

What is the best way to turn plant-based residual streams into new value?

Within the European VALORANT project, a Joint Decision Framework is being developed to help growers and other stakeholders identify the most valuable ways to process and valorise plant-based residual streams. The model will show which options create the most value and in which order they should be considered.

The Joint Decision Framework (JDF) will be published on the BioBoost platform during the project. Launched in 2019 as part of the Interreg BioBoost Europe project, BioBoost brings together knowledge, documents and initiatives on the valorisation of plant-based residual streams and is recognised internationally as an important knowledge-sharing platform.

The VALORANT JDF model will include information on eight crops and provide growers and other stakeholders with a practical tool to make better-informed decisions about extracting and valorising valuable compounds from their residual streams.
